Everything You Need to Know About Cargo Logistics
Have Questions?
1. What information is required for a fast quotation?
- Origin/destination (port/airport/address), cargo type & description (HS code if available)
- Number of packages, dimensions & weight, Incoterms
- Expected timeline, special requirements (dangerous goods, temperature control, lifting/crane handling)
- Required services (door-to-door, DDP/DAP, insurance, etc.).
2. What is the typical transit time (lead time)?
- Air freight: typically 2–7 days within the region; 5–10 days to Europe/US (airport-to-airport), plus customs and domestic delivery time.
- Ocean freight (FCL/LCL): intra-Asia ~5–12 days; EU/US ~18–35 days; LCL may add 3–5 days for consolidation/deconsolidation
- Cross-border/Multimodal: 2–6 days regionally, depending on border gates and regulations
3. I have no import/export experience—can you handle everything?
Yes. We provide end-to-end services: HS code advisory, documentation (Invoice/Packing List/C/O…), customs clearance at both ends, and suitable transport booking.
We offer door-to-door delivery (DDP/DAP) with 24/7 progress updates. A single point of contact throughout helps minimize your time and risk.
4.Do you handle dangerous goods (DGR), oversized/heavy cargo, or perishables?
- MSDS/UN number, hazard classification, packaging and labeling requirements
- For project cargo: route surveys, special transport permits, and appropriate handling equipment
- For perishables: strict SOPs for temperature control and transit time management.
5. What does the quotation include? Are there additional charges?
Quotations typically include: international freight, origin/destination local charges, documentation and customs fees, pickup/delivery trucking, carrier surcharges (BAF/CAF/PSS/GRI… if applicable), warehousing/CFS, and insurance (if requested).
All costs are transparent in the quotation; any additional charges (if any) will be informed and confirmed prior to execution.
6. Payment terms and incident support?
Flexible payment terms are available (prepaid before shipment, or credit terms Net 15/30 for eligible customers).
In case of delays, schedule changes, or border issues, we proactively communicate, propose alternative solutions (rerouting, carrier/voyage changes), and support insurance claims in accordance with the purchased coverage.
